A centre in the south/eastern region of Melbourne is in need of an experienced and highly efficient Director. They are looking for an inspirational leader for their prestigious centre. The centre is located in a fantastic, leafy area and has a strong community feel. You would need to build strong bonds with families and be able to challenge the children’s learning experiences.
The centre comes with a great team ethos and the strong community feel is a refreshing influence throughout. The successful applicant would need to have a good grasp of the early year’s framework and be a real people person. The centre comes with a fantastic range of natural resources and the successful candidate would receive very competitive rates of pays for their efforts. To be considered for this role you must have the following:
- Diploma of Children’s Services
- Current First Aid certificate and Anaphylaxis training
- Working With Children Card
- A solid understanding of the EYLF
- Good leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
The successful candidate will have a strong passion for early childhood education and be a team player. You will also need to be confident in dealing and liaising with the parents of the centre.
